‘Rise Up’ youth project now accepting Sign-ups

Catholic Voices has partnered with the Diocese of Westminster Youth Ministry, with the support of the Cardinal’s Appeal, to launch a brand new project designed to raise up the next generation of Catholic leaders.

Rise Up is a brand new youth project created to train, equip, and inspire young people in their leadership skills and faith formation.

It is for any practising Catholic aged 15 (Year 11) to 21 who lives, works or studies in the Diocese of Westminster.

Taking place from September to December 2021, you will have one in-person Saturday session at SPEC (in Pinner), one evening webinar, and one mentoring session each month.

You will be coached to give a 15-minute talk to an audience of your choice at the end of the project having chosen a subject matter you are passionate about.

There is an opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised qualification, a Level 1 Certificate in Exploring Youth Work, through Need2Succeed (our training partner for Rise Up).

How to apply

Fill in our application form and send it to info@catholicvoices.org.uk before Saturday 31 July 2021.

There are only 20 spaces.

You must have a ‘sponsor’ (e.g. your teacher, chaplain, priest) who commits to praying for you and who will help you to arrange your 15-minute talk at the end of the programme.

We recommend a fee of £50 for the whole course but do not let cost be a barrier to applying.

We can’t wait to meet you!
