
As a Retreat Leader, you will be expected to lead and deliver one-day and residential retreat programmes for young people from schools and parish groups, and will be responsible for the recruitment and management of retreat volunteers. This is a non-residential post that will require a high level of organisation, creativity and commitment to the mission of the SPEC Retreat Centre that is part of the Diocese of Westminster Youth Ministry.
New Retreat Leaders will be an integral part of helping to bring together and deliver SPEC’s new volunteer programme, which will include opportunities for regular mentorship, termly retreats and a comprehensive formation element.
Applicants should be practising Catholics, ideally with a professional qualification or its equivalent and possess relevant experience of working with young people; and the right to work in the UK.
The role is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barred List check.
